As a follow up to several activities related to implementation of the Common Core Curriculum (CCC) in the six Eastern Partnership countries, Frontex organized a regional conference on 30-31 May 2018 in Chisinau, Moldova to present the Common Core Curriculum - Interoperability Assessment Programme (IAP) Study. The event was organised in close cooperation with the International Organization for Migration.
The IAP Study was developed by experts contracted to Frontex, based on data gathered from responses to the Frontex Common Core Curriculum implementation letter, sent by the Border Guard training institutions, and on data gathered following the administration of the IAP student evaluation in the EaP countries.
The regional conference was organised to present the Study’s conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers in the target countries, and to discuss the way forward in implementation of the CCC.
The conference brought together representatives of Border Guard agencies, their respective training institutions and National Training Coordinators from Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
